The Man With No Name Trilogy

They don’t get more badass than Clint Eastwood in the three classics he made with director Sergio Leone in the ’60s. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of the best movies ever made, but predecessors A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are great too. And they look even more awesome in this Blu-ray set, which includes tons of extras. Totally badass.

This new racing game (for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) refreshingly bends reality, so it’s more like Mario Kart than Need for Speed. Blur really comes to life in the online multiplayer, where 20 racers send opponents smashing into walls. Best of all, you can blast your way through the pack with awesome energy blasts. Where can I get some of these for my Honda?

The all-star comedy celebrates its 30th anniversary with a Blu-ray release packed with bonuses (including a making-of doc). Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Ted Knight, and MVP Bill Murray are at their best in this movie set in the fancy-ass Bushwood Country Club. Endlessly quotable and surreal (the dancing gopher still rocks), it’s a Cinderella story outta nowhere.

The Cure: Disintegration: Deluxe Edition

The Cure’s 1989 commercial breakthrough is the goth pioneers’ most enduring album – a potent mix of gloomy ballads and moody jams. This three-disc set adds two CDs: one filled with demos, outtakes, and instrumentals, and another that recreates a live Disintegration from a Wembley Arena concert. Even the band’s mopiest fans may crack a smile.

Hot Tuna: Live at the New Orleans House, Berkeley, CA September 1969

(Collectors’ Choice)

These unplugged hippies recorded their 1970 debut when Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady took a break from Jefferson Airplane. Live gathers 13 previously unreleased songs from the same string of concerts that yielded that record. Their repertoire consisted mostly of old blues tunes, which the group treated as gospel. So real you can almost smell the audience’s stench.
